Connecticut

Massachusetts has one of the strongest Lemon Laws in the country. It covers new and used vehicles. For new cars, the manufacturer must repair a defect within 3 attempts or 15 business days. Used vehicles sold by dealers are covered for 30 days or 1,250 miles.

Massachusetts is a no-fault state. Personal Injury Protection (PIP) coverage of at least $8,000 is required in addition to liability.

Registration
Massachusetts registration fees vary by vehicle type and weight. Expect $60–$90 for a standard passenger vehicle registration.
Inspections
Massachusetts requires an annual safety and emissions inspection. The sticker is due on your registration anniversary month.
